Join us for our first, Annual Indigenous Students Business Dinner where we are privileged to have Cadmus Delorme as our Keynote Speaker! His story of "Student to Chancellor" is guaranteed to inspire everyone in the room so we walk away motivated to reach our goals and advance Reconciliation.


This dinner rewards our Indigenous students for all their hard work and encourages their path as future leaders in our community.

The goal of the dinner is to:

✅ Build students professional business networks

✅ Increase students' networking skills

✅ Give students experience in formal business setting

✅ Build confidence in our students because they know so many employers and companies are there to support their growth and careers

✅ Enhance Reconciliation by bringing everyone together for common goals.

What can I expect at this Business Dinner?

  • This is an evening for you to enjoy … our team will guide you through the evening to ensure you feel 100% comfortable networking with companies.

  • The evening will start out with registration and a cocktail reception from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM. We require attendees to be a minimum of 19 years old as there will be alcohol available for purchase.

  • Ohh Snap Photos is joining us so you can capture some fun photos with friends throughout the evening.

  • The formal program will start at 6:00 PM sharp and will be followed by a formal, plated dinner.

  • There will be 4 employers and 4 students seated at each table and we will provide talking cards to keep the conversation flowing all night.

  • From 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM we will enjoy the plated meal, conversation, networking and Photo Booth fun.

  • At 8:00 PM we are excited to bring you a secret, world renowned cultural performer who amaze us with their performance

  • Cadmus Delorme will close out the evening with a keynote address that is guaranteed to inspire every attendee in the room!

Student Attendance Guidelines


This complimentary event is made possible by Brooks HR Group and employer sponsors who have generously covered the cost of each student seat.

To help us respect their continued support, and ensure fairness for all students, please note:

• We ask students to register only if you are certain you can attend for the full evening.
• Students who register, but do not attend, will be ineligible to attend Brooks HR Group student events for a 12 month period.

Dress Code for the event is business attire. We ask you to come as business formal as you are able - we don’t want attire to stop you from attending this amazing student evening :)
